It's truly impossible to find the
exact words to describe the beauty of Belcekiz Beach and Ölüdeniz
Lagoon. Reached by a 14km long road leading from ,
Fethiye
through lush pine covered mountains, the view as you come over
the crest of the last hill before descenting to sea level is
quite simply breathtaking Endless expanses of turquoise
cobalt, azure sea, lapping the long, sweeping white beach of
Belcekiz, leading to a wide lagoon which is sheltered from the
open sea by a peninsula of thickly vegetated rock all set
against the back drop of the magnificent Babadag mountain.
Ölüdeniz Lagoon is a shallow bay of completely still crystal
clear water of every shade of blue equally breathtaking in
winter or summer and perfect for swimming almost all year
round 2km around the coast from here is Kidrak(Paradise) Beach
a smaller cove set amongst the pine forest.
